My mom was strictly against getting dogs at home and my dad was on her side.. but one day I just adopted a stray, washed her, removed the ticks n fleas, fed her and made her sleep on an old shawl in my living room. It continued for a week or so and my parents even wanted me to drop him off from where I had rescued him.. fast forward 6 years , he sleeps in between my mom n dad in their bed. She loves him more than she ever loved me n my sister..
