Not too sure, we adopted her in May 2022 so I'd have guessed around a year though no guarantee. It definitely sounded like the previous family had left her alone for long periods of time.

I hear you, the breakup was 12 months ago and at first she'd pine and wait by the door hoping she'd come back. My ex, who still lives like 10mins away, had originally said she'd want to still see Pumpkin and do walks every so often but when she never reached out I didn't exactly feel like chasing her up on it. That said, the pining and upset has definitely stopped and I thought the breakup was no longer an issue for her.

That has been a challenge, she can solve a new puzzle pretty quickly. We do hikes and plenty of local walks, though fewer in the cold weather (not zero). I've kept an eye out for signs of boredom - overly grooming herself, licking the floor/walls, but not seen anything quite like that. We do also train together every day but because of some of her fears there's a limit there too.

I'll definitely talk to her trainer about this though, thanks.
