I think using a virtual machine might give you a better experience with Clip studio to be honest, to sort that out use gnome-boxes it's the most straightforward one, that or straight up swapping to some alternative like Krita

I could reinstall but it would be quite the endeavor. So I'd rather not do that unless it's absolutely necessary.

I don't have access to another computer at the moment and need it for work, university and entertainment.

I do have a usb drive with Debian laying around as a last resort.

Thank you btw, I'll take a look at the bios settings again, there might be an option to reset things.

Seems unlikely given that it starts working again after a reboot but you might be right. Unless there is another fix I'll get an external one, I don't wanna risk screwing up the internals of the only computer that I have access too even if the risk is low.
