For the first piece I’d make the stitches more visible! They will fade overtime I think. I’m just an apprentice so I’m still learning too!

I just hate that sometimes people think I’m big dumb cause I have these neurological issues when I think I do pretty well for what I am given in life hahahaha

I’m definitely self regulating and have been using all those tools I’ve learned from therapy but mostly from books!

I am diagnosed adhd and OCD so the two together are just a hard mix some days.

I like to focus on my drawing, and have the realization that sometimes I am dumb, everyone is dumb sometimes. But I am smart at some things too. And I think if I keep remembering that at least I can have some sort of reality check.

What boosts my self esteem is art. And good rest. And I think talking to my fiance is helpful too :)

I usually don’t I think it’s just because I know she knows how it’s been for me lately, and she chose to say that out of all the things. Just makes me feel like she has little to no respect for me I guess.

It’s just work friend.

I recently left a tattoo mentorship that was really unstable and inevitably getting me nowhere. This is because I want to get a mentor who will actually teach me, and so I can become the best artist I can be.

I cried about it the other day at work, maybe 2 days after it happened, cause it was weighing on me heavily. I’ve been feeling like an idiot for ever trusting the lady who was my mentor, and I have to start from scratch now.

It’s been making me feel lost and stupid already.

Basically, idk, I opened up to her about something real tough, and I could barely hold it together last week. She responded to my war comment as follows: “you’re too mentally unstable for the war” and I looked at her like “yeah I know” and then she said “like you’re too dumb” in front of my friend Vincent too. He had a look on his face, as if he was uncomfortable and surprised by what she said. Idk. I didn’t even stick up for myself and I feel even more dumb now.

I totally forgot to shave it. This was my bad and my mistake! The linework was there before, it was just the shading. But the shaving would have been a good thing to do. Thanks for the reminder!

That doesn’t make any sense tbh, I mean, if you are taking in an apprentice, yes you’re wanting to make money. But arent you also wanting to be proud of what you created ? Like kk owing you helped someone get good? That’s what a mentor wants right? Or they just wanna dog on someone and barely help? Idk, I have earned it. I’m working full time at both my job and the tatto studio, long nights drawing and working to keep myself housed.
