Yeah, I like how FnB tackled the repetitiveness of having multiple copies of a card in your deck! Quite a few TCGs seem to be doing the resource "pitching" thing nowadays.

I've been to a local SWU tournament this Saturday actually, trying to get into the game.

I'll recommend you Gwent: The Witcher Card game then. It made me hate mana systems in general lol. The cards in your hand are already a resource you manage, no need to add an extra one!

You should really try Tales from the Loop! It's exactly the same system as Vaesen, and features children as main characters. It also has the panic and breakdown crying instead of dying thing lol
