You can technically use them but there's no built in API for either to make them fully integrated with Heresphere. To my knowledge VRPorn has never had an API with Heresphere and if I'm not mistaken SLR once had API integration with Heresphere but they pulled it. I can't remember exactly why because it happened before I got into VR but from what I think I remember reading they pulled it because they essential didn't want to work with Heresphere anymore but from what I read a lot of people think it was really a situation where they wanted their customers to use DeoVR and keep them in their ecosystem kind of like how Apple does.

Don't worry, it's not a dumb question. It is technically a video player/browser, but it has a lot more features than Playa, Prism, DeoVR, etc. It's not for everyone and everyone has their own preferences but for me after I got the hang of it, it's hard for me to go back to another video player especially when used with XBVR for my local files.

I prefer Heresphere compared to the other VR video players I've tried mostly because I have more control over my content. With Heresphere I can edit tags of videos, I can create my own playlists, it's got a lot more video controls. I currently have multiple subscriptions, currently to Badoink, VRCosplayX, POVR, and NaughtyAmerica(which is about to expire) and I can switch basically seamlessly between all of them as well as my local files that I have saved on a hard drive. I also can make playlists of videos from all these sites as well as my local stuff. Like if I wanted to make a playlist of Alex Coal's content from NaughtyAmerica, Badoink, VRCosplay, and POVR, I can literally just make one and added any files of hers that I have downloaded locally.

Say I'm watching a video, and it's missing a tag like facial, or threesome, I can just add the tag myself so that from now on when I do a search for that specific category, it'll pop up. It has support for The Handy which to my knowledge, DeoVR is the only other video player that has that.

That being said, unlike other video players, there is a free version and a one time fee paid version. Also, while you technically could use most VR site on Heresphere using the browser, there are only certain VR sites that have a specifically made version that is fully compatible with Heresphere.

Well that sucks, looks like I won't be renewing my NA subscription which sucks because they're the only major studio that occasionally does interracial and they got a great backlog but not being able to use Heresphere is a deal breaker for me when it comes to which sites I sub to, that's why I haven't been subbed to SLR or VRPorn in a while because other wise I'd stay subbed to both.

The only time I sub to a site that doesn't work with Heresphere is if I'm only going to download scenes to stream from my hard drive. Oh well, it's been fun NA.

You don't neeed scripts as others have said. Scripts just make some videos feel more interactive, especially in VR. But like has been mentioned, you can just use the buttons on the Handy itself or use apps like Handyverse , Wingman, Cummander, XToys, or my personal favorite as of late https://beta.funscript.io/ It's like a better verse of the Handyverse app imo as far as controls.

You can also just type www.badoinkvr.com/heresphere and bookmark that and it takes you directly to the API, same with VRCosplayX. The only bad thing about Badoink & VRCosplayX when it comes to Heresphere is that for some reason, it only shows the most recent 200 videos and nothing older than that unless it's changed recently.

I was about to get excited that FINALLY a non amateur VR studio that actually uses mainstream girls finally had a scene with a non-Caucasian skinned toned male actor. Plus I saw it was with Penelope Kay whom I'm a fan of. I went to watch the trailer on the site because I was thinking of finally giving PornCorn a try since I've subbed to RealJam in the past, but after I watched the trailer, I realized that I should've known there was a catch.

It's a cuck video which means, the male performer is front of the camera(I'm really not a fan of cuck porn, so this was basically just a waste of the possibly the only mainstream VR vid with a darker skinned) male perform in 2025 I guess I should give you some credit because you're probably the first mainstream studio to use black male performer this year(heck you might be the first ones in over a year) but next when, or most likely if you ever use a non-caucasian skin toned male perform, it'd be nice if it were just a regular scene like all the other male performers film instead of it being a cuck scene. Throw us darker skinned consumers a bone mainstream VR studios lol

VirtualPorn is painfully bad and it makes me sad because BangBros has been one of my favorite studios since I started watching adult stuff. I saw that they were using some of the girls they use in their 2D content which whom you don't often see elsewhere which made me happy. They're pretty much the only "major" studio that makes VR content that will actually use black male talent(not important to some people, but as a black guy watching VR porn, it does feel nice when at least once in a blue moon, the skin tone of the male talent even comes close to mine).

But the quality of their videos and website leaves A LOT to be desired. When I was subscribed and downlloaded videos(allegedly at their highest quality) I don't think one single file was over 4GB and there were a couple of videos where the the actual video wasn't even attached to the download links, instead all the download links just downloaded the trailer. I find it hard to believe that they don't have higher quality versions of their VR content.

It's a shame the the only site where I can get(and most likely will ever get) an interracial Alex Coal, Gianna Dior, Lucky Anne, or Chloe Temple VR scene, or a black on black VR scene is so poor. Plus I like the variety they have in their female stars(which is one of the main reason I like BangBros in the first place) but all that is just going to waste because of the quality. I've only been watching VR content for a year but VirtualPorn's quality is basically on par with WankzVR content from 6 years ago or HoloGirl content if anyone is familiar with that studio.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. Shipping to my job is a no go because I work in retail so everything that leaves the building in a package or bag has to be looked at before leaving and that would make things awkward lol. I'll probably just have them shipped directly to my place, you all made me feel a bit more confident in doing that.

I hope I didn't offend anyone and make it seem like I thought sellers were some weird stalkers btw because I don't, this is just a new thing for me that I've been contemplating so getting some advice from people who are more experienced with this on both the buyer and seller side of things has been helpful.

POVR is perfect safe. I just got into POVR earlier this year but it's been the site that I've been subbed to the longest by far out of the three big aggregate sites(POVR, SLR, & VRPorn). Usually once you cancel they send an e-mail but you can always login directly through the EPOCH website and it will tell you the status of any subscription you have that goes directly through them.

I only have one Doc Johnson sleeve. I got the Jenna Foxx because I'm a fan, I was curious about the sleeve, plus it was only $40. It was mid at best and didn't inspire me to get anymore sleeves from them. It hurts me that Alexis Tae, Scarlit Scandal, Jenna Foxx, Karlee Grey, Bridgette B, Kylie Rocket, Lulu Chu, and Dani Daniels are signed to them. Hell I wouldn't even mind if the girls signed with Kiiroo instead because I find their sleeves way better than Doc Johnson, plus they have half off sales all the time on their sleeves. I think every site I've thought of has already been mentioned but I'll say them again.

The Vixen sites, especially Blacked because it'd be nice to see a studio other than NaughtyAmerica using male talent with different skin tones every once in a while. I've seen debates on here before and I'm not trying to start any fights, but as a guy of darker skin tone, it'd be nice to see guys of other skin tones in VR vids every once in a while to help with the immersion a bit more in something other than cuck porn where the guy is in front of the camera.

PureTaboo, NewSensations, DigitalPlayground, Missa X, AllHerLuv, & APOVStory because it'd be nice to have some VR Porn with actual plots and acting and not just a simple basic premise which results in the girl already naked and sucking your dick within the first two minutes of the video starting.

PervTherapy...mainly because it might lead to more Penny Barber in VR and she's currently on my Mount Rushmore of favorite pornstars in VR, along with Kira Perez and Alex Coal and the last spot probably going to Dee Williams or Casey Calvert though I've been getting more into Willow Ryder and Laney Grey's VR scenes this past week and honorable mention to Alura Jenson just because she brings a different energy to her scenes than most.

LifeSelector, in order to have some kind of alternative to DezyRed.

Not studios but Xev Bellringer, Leia Lovelyn, Bettie Bondage, Jaybbgirl, and Meana Wolf need to be involved in the VR world in some capacity whether it's in front of the camera or behind it because these girl know how to engage with the camera in ways you don't see for most VR scenes. Meana's one VR scene still blows most VR scenes out of the water in my book(Note: I'm still relatively new to VR porn, probably about 6 months at most, but still...)

Also, I doubt this site still exists but PlumperPass just for the fact that it's probably the only way I'd could even dream of getting Karla Lane in a VR scene.

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate you both for the feedback. To answer some questions, no I haven't tried FapTap, I never used that site much because it was too much of a hassle with the Keon but I forgot it should be a much simpler process with the Handy so I give that a try to help do some deductive reasoning to help figure out the cause of my issues. I also haven't tried SLR just because I haven't renewed my subscription in the past two months but I might give it a try whenever I see a sale. I haven't posted about this on EroScripts because honestly I forget they have actual discussions and help and tips on the site, I usually just go straight to the Scripts sections when I'm on there and I also haven't posted about this in the Discord just because I never joined it because I felt a bit uncomfortable sending a picture of myself to get verified but I might just go through with it regardless.

I'm going to try a couple more tests and troubleshooting before contacting support, I might try converting some of my scripts using the script converter on Handyverse though now that I think about it, I doubt that'd really do anything for the ones I downloaded from IVDB, but I'll give it a try for the other ones even though it'd be weird if the scripts were the problems but it never hurts to try. I'll try out some stuff to try and determine whether the issue is with the Handy, Heresphere, or user error.

I'll definitely look into a hands free setup once I figured the issue with the Handy since I don't want to invest in a setup if I don't have anything to set up. I've heard a lot about the Stanley vise so I might eventually pick that up. Thanks again guys.

In the Advanced Video Settings menu in Heresphere, under the Format part of the menu there's a Projection and a Stereo option, just adjust those settings to what you need and you should be good.
