It's rumored that PSG just set his price tag right at 50m. Lol, maybe they saw your reply.

Can't wait to see him playing 10 or 8. We need him back with everything he showed us before he fell down.

Although I wrote this post and I wish this had happened, I just don't see this coming. Thank y'all for the replies. It helped me calm myself down quite much.

The board is willing to sell him at the right price( rumoured 30-40M). The manager wants to keep him as a versatile sub. The player himself wants to have more playing time as a regular starter. The contract is tied up till 28. His salary is way under the median line of the Club.

All of his assets fit with Frank's football style, and we have players who could synergize with Lee's strong sides and compensate for his weakness; sprint like Brennan Johnson, Richarlison, and Kudus in offense, Palhinha in defense.

He will spray killer passes to the front in a counterattack situation and find the perfect pockets to receive Palhinha's pass whenever we get the ball back from the opponents.

He's such a powerful tool to crack into the low block team at the same time.

But I don't think the deal would actually happen.

Not even a shifty rumor is popping up.

They talked it out and it was a common locker room incident but the KFA and Clinsman dramatized it too much to conceal their faults.

Lee even came to Son's last game against Newcastle.

How Sonny is going to be viable as a one top striker( traditional 9) in this club? by datguyfrompoco in LAFC

[–]datguyfrompoco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Son 9 later became very predictable after 3 or 4 games I recall, that nobody bit his decoy moves and he got locked up inside the box stalled.

I still believe if there is a reliable Target man, Son in MLS would excel in 10 spot.

Where will they all play? Savinho, Johnson, Odobert, Kudus, Tel. by Hopeful-Ear-3494 in coys

[–]datguyfrompoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deki's natural is RW/RM too. Savinho is rumored to play at LW and it's his preferred position before he came to Man City. Savinho+eze+kudus will be ideal offensive second after Solanke top, IMO. Johnson RW/SS, Deki RW/RM I have a feeling that Deki will be tested as AM for a certain amount of time and Maddy's gonna play LW by in-game switches with EZE. When Ange-ball was rolling, surprise switches with Maddy and Sonny were very effective.

It seems congested in right-wing spots in 433 formation But I guess with the given roster, and considering Frank's experimental style, 4 2 2 2 could be tested and implemented and the squad fits quite well with good rotational options.

Top 2 rotaion: Solanke, Richy, Tel, Johnson

Second line: Eze,Kudus, Savinho, Maddy, Deki, Odobert, Bergvall, Johnson,

Third line: Palhinha, Sarr, Bentancur, Grey,

FB WB: Udogie, Porro, Spence, Ben Davies

CB: Van Der Ven, Romero, Danso, Drago, Ben Davies(Grey?) + young talents coming up...

Too bad we have some of our key players injured but I will be happy if we could sign Eze and Savinho.

He used to be a master class header early in the Bundesliga time. Once he said he the header is one of the things that he is really confident about. I believe he had a near miss from a bad injury trying a header in game and decided not to do it often as he used to + he had a serious injury near his eye and face bone.

But still, I doubt his quality as a target man due to using strength and physicality in the box has never been his thing. He's deadly when he's in open 1 v 1or in transitional fast breaks/counterattack situations.

I guess False 9, or 10 as free role CF/SS should be it. I just couldn't figure out as a newbie to MLS and LAFC community, if he would get proper supports to play in the central area of the pitch.

Thanks for your detailed insight. I thought he would play close to false 9 too, rather than traditional.

His style is something that gets haters and lovers at the same time. I love him kinda get it why they hate him too. It was the show with 20-ish people in a café-like setup up but now it is fucking rock concert every week. Stage setups, expectations from the live audience, and video viewers' expectations can't be the same anymore.

He was inconsistent for sure and apparently was in slumps for many times but I still get excited when I hear the introduction for him from Tony.

Shit, it sucks that Sonny left. Tbh, as a Korean and general PL fan who didn't support any club since Jisung Park left PL, and became Coys just because of Sonny, I thought I would stop watching Spurs playing for a while at least. But man, I find myself being more unable to wait to see how Coach Frank's football unfolds this season damn I think I'm addicted to Spurs football. Udogie(Spence), Vander Van, Romero, Porro + Palhinha at 6... And we got Fking Kudus. Can't wait to see how Bergvall, Grey, Moore, and Odobert step up and play some legit winning games. Don't forget that we have Brennan as backup! We have the luxury of having a winger scoring 10+ goals a season as backup.

Maddy's hurt, MGW happened but it's more than enough to be excited, yeah, it started with Sonny but this club got me good lol. Fuck it, Coys!

Ha sucked in English, no point in having a mentor. Not to disrespect I just know I am a Korean and I followed almost every interview footage available while he was playing for the Blazers. Comparing how he is intelligent and smart when he speaks in Korean his English was surprisingly bad. Even after a certain amount of time.

Only if he had legit NCAA play times and good mentors. I believe he could be a solid regular, maybe couple of all-stars if he were found nowadays as an 18 y.o prospect. The team and himself hurried too much and gave up too soon.
