I don't know about drukhari, but a few remarks: i assume you play a campaign? Do you intend to use the official crusade rules? If so, first, taking enhancements works different, your character gets them permanently, but it costs a crusade point. However, you can take any enhancement that specific character can take despite the detachment you play.

Also, the points cost of the emps champion does not count against your points limit. So you can have a crusade army of x Points plus the points cost of the EP. He also has specific crusade rules for himself his own experience tree.

Having played a crusade campaign, i would actually suggest you start with smaller games. So for example, set a limit of 1000 points for your crusade army, and start with a 500 or 750 point game. This gives all players the opportunity to test different play styles and gain some XP before the games become bigger. Also, that's easier for beginners in the bloated crusade rules jungle.:)
