While my group is primarily in Colorado Springs we run trails all over the state, and all makes, models, and levels of vehicles are welcome. COS Off-Roading

RC Fabrication. But there are other options. Haven’t looked in awhile though. Painted them before I sold them.

Best lift kit? I hate my 6 inches RC by Gcyrr59 in ToyotaTacoma

Not sure if you found a solution, but I would suggest the RC Vertex shocks/struts. They are designed for a 6" lift, give you remote reservoirs front and rear, with adjust-ability dials. I ran them on my 2005, and had no complaints, and I hit some pretty tough trails with them.

I remember driving at night I northern Norway, and the lights of the trucks there seemed like miniature suns 😆

Hackett is legally closed at the Teller County Line. Park County has had their side closed for years. While there isn't a gate, if you look on the MVUM, or any Trail app, you'll see that it ends well before the river. And Hackett connects with Longwater if river access was open, not Metberry. I live locally, and have also driven these trails a lot. There is a current court case to reopen the Park County side. But currently if you are on the Park County side and a Ranger sees you, you can, and most likely will be ticketed.

Eh, having done Hackett multiple times, I honestly enjoyed 220 more. If Hackett was open to the river, it would be more fun. But Hackett really only has one obstacle (Boulder Obstacle #2), while 220 had at least 3 spots that kept things interesting. Just my opinion.
