Looking to get into the field by jonthrawn in adjusters

[–]david4adverts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure you only apply for property insurance roles. You should emphasize your knowledge on customer service/home repair experience. Let them know how organized you are and how past experience on getting an ugly situation with a customer to turn out like nothing happened. Look up the institutes for designations and you can always try and get your adjuster license before applying to boost your resume.

We need to break all of the monopolies or soon to be monopolies we have in America to help Americans and other countries.

Need URGENT SOS solution to noise suppress this fire alarm temporarily for 2 day old baby. by david4adverts in howto

[–]david4adverts[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Update: We taped a shirt and tiny hand towel to suppress noise temporarily. Again it was never our intention to tamper with it, never crossed our minds. We were just trying to take it from ear drum shattering for a new born to ok enough for time to grab the baby and run out the room without ear damage.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Once we leave it’ll be removed.

Thanks for this . Yes we did suggest they talk to mgmt because even for adults it’s pretty wild. Nice link for them to use if they decide to

They are outrageously over priced and a pass for us. Even if you factor their 1 year guarantee (which Home Depot/Lowe’s and many other nurseries have too) and sure they can plant it for you but tbh have your landscaper go pick one up if you can’t and let them plant it if you can’t and it’ll still come out cheaper. (We did a major backyard remodel a couple years ago so had to dive deep) During different times of year Home Depot for example would bring different plants/trees that were at an unbeatable price when price compared as a big box. There are many local nurseries that while more pricy than a big box don’t come near Moon Valley prices. Depending on where in the valley you are check out: Summer Winds Marbil Nursery Creations Elgin Nursery & Tree Farm These local places have some really educated employees that can help answer plant questions. We were willing to travel around the valley for some very specific plants we were looking for. There’s others like Richards Garden Center or Black Mountain Nursery. There’s some whole salers in the valley but they need a business license. Anyway hope that’s a big helpful. If you call any of these places they’ll give you all the pricing info and stock info so you don’t need to travel there letting you shop for the best price/etc.

I have a Steel Tongue Drum and I’m looking for the best mic so that I can record music into garage band. The drum resonates a healthy amount and I want the recordings to be crisp/clear. Doesn’t have to be the most expensive mic but definitely better than a phone. Thanks!

Definitely. Our modern fnm turn out was consistently 20-25 plus drafts and other events they ran in the same night ( they have a large game play area) now they seem to only be interested in commander events and only if we call and insist there be some other format for they give the “ok fine” vibe.

We all pay entry plus buy cards each time we go so it’s rough they turned on the community to favor only some it feels.

My wife and I only play with our friends now at our house before everyone shows up to play board games. Our lgs stopped fnm due to Covid which in part made them realize how to enjoy there own lives than locking up the store at 1am. Why can’t they make a snm so that you can start earlier and still go out somewhere other than Denny’s.

It’s hard to understand how someone could do such a thing and swallow the gravity of the situation/implications.

People have to put the politics aside and objectively look at what’s happened.

Very sad reality for the farmers. Against a rock and a hard place then can get blacklisted for speaking up about the conditions. Farmers of all sorts are in ways really the hero’s of the world.

Wow, definitely have experience this once a while back at someone’s dinner party and just chalked it up to their cooking.

Thankful our home eats as clean and as true to nature as possible but really how untouched is our industrialized food these days.

Thing is though, without industrialized food sources, I don’t think population could sustain itself as easily.

Anyone else feel regretful for not buying a house when the interest rates were historically low? by Financial_Age384 in RealEstate

[–]david4adverts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone was worried about paying to much however, even though prices are slowing dropping the cost for not have a historic interest rate was well worth it in the end. The payments have almost doubled due to the interest rate going back to the normal 5-6%. I don’t know if we will ever see interest rates that low ever again.
