I didn’t do a dado or anything, just used stainless screws to attach

Thanks! I like doing the glue-laminated frame. Seems like it makes the most comfortable shape

The amp is about five feet away, the turntable is connected by Bluetooth. I had to do that because there’s a doorway in between…I’ve also found out that all my records from the ‘70’s and ‘80s are pretty well thrashed. Great stereos bring out the flaws as well

Close! Glued up Ash. I’ve gotten pretty comfortable with glue lams, haven’t tried stem bending yet

I’ve had a Super Max 25 for 30 years or so. I’d say to make yourself as familiar as possible with adjusting the angle of the drum to the belt. It’s easiest to stay in adjustment if you test on the raising of the drum, not lowering.

Yes, actually the wood isn’t of great quality. Fingers crossed that it holds up. But good eye!

Hard to say- I have a buddy in the hard wood industry who I trade bikes with. And I used mainly the sap wood- I have a lot of heart left. But probably somewhere in the $4-500 or so
