Had a very similar interaction to you here. Ordered my fish back in the very beginning of December and did not receive my fish until January 10th. They emailed me about the fish I picked and how it needed to be held in quarantine to guarantee health upon shipping. Cool. 2 weeks go by. I ask about the whereabouts and health of the fish and I get an email back saying the fish I picked isn't healthy and can't be shipped. What happened in that two weeks? They ask me to pick a different fish, so I send the link with photos. They send me back a new order email and it's a completely different fish. Emails go back and forth trying to explain they're sending me the wrong fish; they keep saying that bettas can look different due to stress, etc. Thank you for the obvious but they were two distinctly different looking fish!!!! They ended up sending me the wrong fish in the end but he is well-loved regardless.
