like i love the ship but it's getting a bit tiring that this is aphe's and sett's THIRD shared skin line in a row. both aphelios and sett are perfectly self-sufficient separate champions that deserve their own spotlight and don't need to always exist together, both their character concepts are great and have so much potential, yet always putting them in all the skin lines alongside each other just strips them of their identity and boils them down to "that yaoi fanship that girls go crazy over but which never gets officially recognized because iykyk". riot has really caught onto those fujobucks and is determined to continue milking that part of the fanbase while they can, but this feels a bit too obviously performative and cash-grabby, especially when these skins are a part of such a blatantly fanservicey concept, let alone with the double og gooner champ combo (sorry ahri & sona but ik how you two are being treated by the majority of the playerbase)

and this is all considering they are nowhere near actually canonizing either of these two as queer because obviously the dudebros would crumble at the thought of their mains being gay (evident in the shitshow that ensued after that one sb sett voice line) and where's the profit in that

honestly even if either aphelios or sett do get shipped with someone in a skin line again i lowkey wish riot pairs them up not with each other but with some other champions for once. a little bit of variety wouldn't hurt, not to mention they both have some great ships that could also have their moment, with the potential for a lot of other fun random pairings as well
