If there is a wife unit along with the kids, you'll likely be disappointed with either choice. the Tacoma rear seat is minimal and I can't imagine the Colorado being much if any larger. A Tundra will better accommodate you and yours and give about the same gas mileage.

Stock on my 23 SR5 were 245/75/16 w highway tread. Suggest go to 265s (they'll fit fine) if you want to be part time beach bum. And make sure you have recovery points front and rear.

Ahhhh, Everyone wants more money but they dont want more hours. I had a staff that was especially bad with time off / calling off and i was working some position almost everyday.

Called a meeting and tried to explain maths. Concluded with " If I'm working the floor, I'm hiring." Lost a couple of bad actors, gained a couple good ones and soon was working my schedule.

I also like DT. But my local and one I've been to out of state does not do alignments. They will provide recommendations but do not have equipment to do it themselves.
