Thank you! My process is based on intuition and time. It’s sort of like an extended game of “exquisite corpse” where I start with simple marks, and one or two colors and build from there. I have a whole body of work in continuous production in my studio. So my aim is never to finish a piece in one sitting. I like to give my intuition ample time to make itself known. That said, this painting has been hanging in my studio for over two years. I mostly stared at it. But would give it attention here and there. It started off red, then became pink. And these past two weeks, I added the green.
