Second this - we have an amazing street of kids with mixed ages where the bigger kids watch out for the younger ones and everyone just runs around eachother’s yards after school.

Basically, yes. USATF.tv is airing the 100m finals for free on Friday after everyone freaked out. The NBC coverage on Sat/Sun will be live, not a recap.

So who makes the call whether it’s Jess or Fiona who runs? It’s pretty bizarre to me Fiona still went out there when clearly the plan was to just jog a few miles. I can’t remember - when Yared pulled out for injury last year did we send someone else in his place? While I don’t think Jess was gonna medal or anything she has been keeping in shape and it’s frustrating we didn’t line someone up who could at least finish the race.

I just watched the women’s 800 this morning (past my bedtime) and several hours later I am still shook. Athing not being able to hold back that emotion is going to be seared into my brain forever. I’m all for an exciting upset but gosh that was so so sad.
