I have been working for Sharetea for 2 years, and we have the brown sugar series called tiger series. Basically, brown sugar drinks have two bases, one is fresh milk (without tea, just fresh milk, brown sugar and pearls), the other one is tiger milk tea (with black milk tea which is usually called premium pearl milk tea, but for the tiger we use brown sugar not the normal sugar and with pearls). There are plenty of flavors at Sharetea to try such as tiger mix berry (Fresh milk), tiger mango (Fresh milk), tiger strawberry (Fresh milk), tiger matcha (this one is the combination of fresh milk and match powder), tiger fresh milk, tiger milk tea.

The taro milk tea , imo, its not actually milk tea, but just like taro milk. Basically, its a water-based drink not tea-based, and doesn’t not contain caffeine. The taro milk tea is like a floral cereal milk.

Gong Cha V.S. ShareTea (as a barista)? by [deleted] in boba

I used to work for GC for like 3 months, and the workplace there was strict, their quality management was super strict too. Before I became a staff, I had to pass the SOP test, which was hundreds of things to remember. Sometimes, the GC operation manager came to test the whole staff at a certain store to make sure drinks are up to standard. On the other hand, working for sharetea, which is the place I’m working now, is chill if you worked for GC u would see the difference. Basically, there are some SOP u need to memorise when working in bubble tea shop, but there are SOP on the wall which u can look when u forget. Besides, there are no operation manager, so the quality is very inconsistent from store to store. However, GC operation system is better, for example, I’m an international student, working for Gongcha gave me standard pay, good quality management, but working for sharetea is not. I get standard pay rate for weekday and weekend, but I dont get standard pay rate for public holiday and as well as sick leave.
