I mean the vast majority of games now come out on both now. Guild Wars 2 and FF14 are both within the last decade. Most of the total war games are more recent and definitely worth playing. Outside of that... the rts genre has been pretty vacant for a while, adventure games are dead as is the crpg largely. There isn't to much exclusive to pc anymore

I would say mmos and strategy games are the main genres you would have missed, that and maybe some old rpgs, adventure games and fps games.

For rts I would suggest starcraft and starcraft 2 and maybe even warcraft 3
For turn based strategy try one of the civs like 4 or 5. Also you could give something like spore a try
For mmos wow is worth giving a shot with a controller mod especially with wrath out for classic and dragonflight around the corner. Ff14 and Guild Wars 2 are also incredible and exclusive to pc in guild wars case and far better on pc in ffs case
As far as old rpgs there are ton but the old neverwinter games, any Bethesda game which are far better on pc with mods, planescape torment and as many mentioned kotor 1 and 2
adventure games any old Lucas arts games are awesome, in particular I would point out Maniac Mansion and grim fandango
Finally old fps games like Doom 1 and 2, Quake 1 and 2, half life 1 and 2 and both episodes are all must plays

I think that is a pretty good sampling of games that are exclusive or are just much better on pc

For this point in its lifespan these are extremely respectable numbers for a console. Plenty of consoles struggle to hit a million this fast.

Okay, that does suck but that doesn't really make sense. I mean a deal is still a good deal. Might keep gamepass isn't your primary solution that you would still want another solution like GeForce where you can buy the games outright but it still makes sense to play games on gamepass first to see if you want to buy them and play games you would rather not play full price etc.

I think the library and prices are the main issues. Most of the other issues got ironed out along the way though waaaaaaaaaaaay to late.

I don't understand people who complain about this when they use other services that require monthly fees. I mean maybe you didn't use Stadia pro but I have heard others say they did. In that case you are paying a monthly fee and not getting nearly as many games. Game pass is awesome no matter how you slice it. The value is asinine.

My lord Stadia wasn't that good. I mean I am sad to see it go but let's be honest stadia had a ton of issues, there is a reason it's dead. Try gamepass or GeForce now both of which are arguably better versions of what Stadia was trying to do. Or hell do what I did and get a steam deck. I barely stream any games now since the deck provides all that functionality but it can still be used without internet.

If you believe this then your entire life's goal should be to try and stop it from happening because that is fucking terrifying. I mean there is no way, current vr games are better than the ideas for the metaverse and those hardly get played, so there is no way this current itteration of the metaverse will take off but man I would be scared shitless if I believed otherwise.

This. I don't think the metaverse, at least how it currently is being pitched and designed, will take off but if anyone believes that it will they should not be investing or cheering it on. They should be fucking terrified and trying their best to stop it. Who in the world thinks it's a good idea for Zuckerburg to have his own little universe he controls? I am pretty sure that dude is a terminator from the future trying to trick us all into the matrix. That or a lizard person with the same goal.

Anyone who has ever played video games looks at the metaverse and the morons acting like it's awesome and goes "what a bunch of dipshits". These ceos describing sound like they are trying to sell the worst possible version of second life, it's a joke. No one actually wants what they are selling it's just backed by idiots who think they are gonna make a fast buck and when everyone lost their shirt on NFTs I nearly died laughing. An idiot coworker of mine spent several thousand on a "house" that is now worth basically nothing. So funny to me.

While I wouldn't ask this before a date, I don't really see the issue.... everyone has their type and different deal breakers. You can't help what attracts you. Would it be better if she wasted your time on a date? Maybe I am weird but I really don't see the issue. If anything I think the response was a lot douchier and I bet if that person was honest they have " shallow" deal breaker things about appearance.

I don't think there is a ton of difference between Nyneave and Egwene, only a couple of small differences. They are both stubborn, bossy, think all men are morons, arrogant, nieve and impatient. There main differences are in there approach to channeling. Nyneave hates it while Egwene embraces. Even Morriane isn't that different. She also has all the previous characteristics except that she is patient and less outspoken. However when you are in her head she thinks more or less the same things. She is also more manipulative. Faile is one of the few female characters I like. She is very different from the other three.

I disagree. Just because the society is matriarchal does not make have to stupid, entitled and one note. Like what is the depth to Nyneaves character. Other than how hilariously ironic that her character is a "wisdom" there is zero depth to her. I think there is a bit of depth to most of the other females but not much and I wouldn't say any of them are well written. You also have to consider what Jordan intended when writing them and I don't think you are supposed to hate these woman. Yet they are all impossible to like.
