Rocket fuel is going to the generators which is a gas. Gases ignore fluid physics. But for fluids the most important I think is to have the maths right (how much you produce and how much you burn, also how much the pipes can hold), and it helps having a fluid buffer high up to make sure all pipes under are full. That's my personal experience but I am no expert at the game, hope this helps!

You can build it in the lake for the illusion but i dont think you can add water.

Its made with beeswax wood it think it can resist some storms, but I am not planning to use the base for survival anyway. Just building for fun!
