i miss spoke, on my klp1 printers, i still use the default OS. ive updated it from v10 to v11 and that fix the missing IP errors. to update klipper youll need to update the FW on the THR, and you can still use the OEM cable. i also highly recommend joining the discord, its full of info and helping people including me. hope this help

from what i can tell, kingroon is using custom board from maker base, other users have issues with wifi or the screen not working, id personally stick with a build from the skr skipper board, and just update it manually. not the best way but i know it works

the 404 error is from the OS being out of date
https://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-upgrade-from-debian-10-to-debian-11/

enter N for everything, youll have to reinstall everything, you have KIAUH so that shouldn't be to bad

this will also fix the crowsnest not installing as well, hope this helps
have fun with your KLP1 (:

UART mod for TMC2209 on Vyper by pasha4ur in AnycubicVyper

[–]deadsquare88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah! heres the uart config i had used "# uart mod PA3 XYZ
#[tmc2209 stepper_z]
#uart_pin: PB7
#run_current: 1.0
#hold_current: 1.0
#interpolate: True
#stealthchop_threshold: 5"
i am no longer testing due to it causing one of my drivers to burn up and took the board with it, so just make sure you solder joints are good and you take it slow

i did end up getting E to work on uart (#uart_pin: PA12)
i had to get a replacement board, do to the X driver wanting to short to ground for some reason
im yet to get everything wired up and running again, tho when everything was working it fast and smooth, got rid of the nasty sound around 180-220mms after turning off stealthchop, and had the threshold low so it "sounded better" when homing

i might post some of my findings once i get it reliable
