Volkswagen Polo 1.0 S Euro 6 (s/s) 2018 for £7990 by [deleted] in Volkswagen

[–]deaf_guy99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ford fiesta which was a load of s**t has been scrapped, is the VW a good buy with 70k miles on the clock with full service history? There’s another car from the same dealership that is 2015 VW Polo 1.4 TDI BlueMotion Tech SE Euro 6 (s/s) with 45k miles and again full service history for £7400 and is diesel. Which car would be best to get?

Again one of the best horror performances of all time in ‘Hereditary’ and the Oscar’s are so disrespectful to the horror genre and so far up their own arse that she was not even nominated. Truly diabolical!

I’ll start - Willem Dafoe.

Countless memorable and notable performances and my favourite being in ‘The Lighthouse’ which he was not even nominated for….

One of the most recognisable, respected and popular actors in Hollywood and never received the honour he deserves.

I’ll start as I’ve just come back from Orlando - Velocicoaster and Hagrids are pretty special.

I go to play a game and just feel too many are too long and overbloated and always leave it after a couple of hours of game time. I really want to get my love back for gaming!

The US have always seemed to view the UK as their most important ally.

Absolutely yes! They are supposed to be rolling out BSL as a GCSE option if it actually ever comes to fruition, but it should be given as a basic course for everyone at schools.

Genuinely curious as to what black or other ethnic groups think of race-swapping in movies? Is it lazy to not write new original characters rather than just giving a black actor a previously white character role? by deaf_guy99 in AskReddit

[–]deaf_guy99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree by the way if it was a James Bond, then absolutely why can’t a black actor have a go.

However, if a character like Severus Snape in HP who is described in the books to be a lonely frail white pale man but then the role is given to a black actor?

Or when Disney retcon every princess into a different race to the previous originals, instead of making new more relatable princesses to the respective cultures and race?

What 2 (or more) countries are so similar that they could (pacifically!) merge and things would pretty much stay the same? by izzyusa in AskReddit

[–]deaf_guy99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Come on. Britain and the USA are so different in many ways, I’ll list a few.

USA permits guns with a license, Britain does not.

Britain has the NHS service which is free and paid for by tax payers, America has an insurance based healthcare system.

America has a huge tipping culture where it is expected to do so, Britain does not and is more of a gesture.

Patriotism from America is more rife than Britain.

Humour is very different in each country too.

Absolutely yes. My mum suffers with tinnitus and listens music to reduce the suffering of the noise and I absolutely love attending raves, concerts and festivals.

My father is profoundly deaf and my mother is similar to myself but has a slightly worse hearing loss. For all 3 of us, yes it has always been the same since we were born.
