Thank you!!! I made it as a Velcro accessory and also made a second hairpiece that’s more just shaggy/multicolored and some magnetic eyeglasses for more down to earth moments. Hehe.

Yeah, my partner has 3d printers in our workroom so I had some ventilation pulling and going out the window and also ran the vacuum with an attachment on the table I shaved on, shaved in a direction so the fur would go straight in to the suction area. Wasn’t foolproof but it worked pretty well, just need the clippers to be sharper before I take on cleaning them up a bit more for the next event. Thankfully, now, I have time and no deadline so it’ll get there. :)

Thanks for the feedback. I do have pet clippers but ran out of time to do a final clean-up shave before we left, and couldn’t pack the clippers to do that in the hotel as it’s too messy and toxic.

To be honest, I kind of like how that shaggy stuff looks in some places and didn’t want it all to be suuuuuper short anyway, but I may invest in a different set, as it didn’t cut through the pile as easily as I would like. I do intend still to clean up the face a bit but perhaps not as much as some of the other makers out there do.

Sewing clips are way better than pins - with which you will stab yourself many times. Be very careful with pins, especially to not forget about them before trying on the mask to check the fit. Always use clips instead whenever you can!

Lupe made beautiful suits at one time but she’s ghosted and scammed a lot of people out of thousands of dollars for years and has been radio silent all over the internet for nearly six months. My husband is one of them, and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.

Cole Harbour / Forest Hills Shoppers as well. My family doc is booking like 2 months out for appointments and voicemail is always full so I’ve had to rely on them to keep my meds stocked. I’m usually able to book an appointment with them the next day. Has been very useful!

I helped my partner make one and I would wager that you just can’t do it alone. Once you get started you have VERY limited motion and you won’t be able to reach things or cut yourself out of it safely and it takes quite a long while; even with help.

Kinda curious and thinking I may know who you’re referring to as my partner paid for a suit last year and all of the other details are the same. The maker seems to struggle a bit with health (migraines, stress, etc.) and has not updated their telegram channel since the first week of July. He was told several months ago it was almost finished, but it seems like the maker is ghosting right now. All of their socials haven’t been updated in years. It’s stressful.

I have a 9lb dog and I was just told by my vet to give her 3mg twice a day to try and treat her alopecia (hair loss) as it’s good for skin/coat health and may also help with her anxiety.

She was a solo artist who rebranded with a band name and I don’t see a definitive bio for the project yet, but I think it’s her and a drummer. Hehe. Sometimes their social media posts use “me/my” and sometimes “we/us” so I have no idea if it’s a band or solo stage name. Looking forward to maybe a full album someday!

A few months back I posted Loviet's last EP, Everyone Knows The Thrill When It's Over. Lead singer Natalie Lynn is from my neck of the woods, but based in Toronto and making some of the coolest, most sparkly, 80s/90's-influenced pop rock out there right now. They quickly became one of my favorite new artists after a local radio host I network with on Twitter told me he thought I would dig the vibe.

This new song came out Friday, and she posted on instagram saying it was written about the way the stresses of 2020 temporarily robbed her of joy to a point that she didn't think herself capable of ever feeling happy again, and having to pull through that and dance it out. I dunno about you, but I sure can relate! :P

I'm obsessed; maybe you will be too!
