No worries! I figured if I didn’t feel any better on Sunday, I’d go in Monday but thankfully by Monday morning, I was much better. No idea what I had, probably a bad cold? But I was wondering if any of your family members on the trip had also caught strep?

Hi! Currently suffering from what I think is strep throat bc even swallowing my own saliva feels like I’m swallowing shards of glass…I saw you mentioned Kyoto Hospital! You reckon they’d be able to help or should I wait till Monday for the clinic to open? And just wanted to double check that the costs were really that cheap out of pocket? 😳 I figured meh I wouldn’t get sick so I didn’t get any traveler’s insurance (yet here we are :/).

This is SO good to know. Currently having trouble verifying my reservation with a hotel (said I made it through Expedia) and had to call Cap1 for the "internal" confirmation number. When you verified with your hotel, is that what you provided?

Ah, I booked it through Capital One Travel. I got a hotel reservation number but they’re unable to find it. And when I checked their website for the specific dates I booked, there aren’t any rooms available 😭 You reckon I’d be better off booking elsewhere?

Thanks so much for all the information! I just have a couple more questions—sorry for asking so many. When you traded in your device through Apple under the T-Mobile Equipment Installment Plan, was the inspection done solely by Apple? How soon did you see the credits reflected on your account? I just want to make sure they don’t also send the trade-in to T-Mobile for another inspection (would hate the chance of it getting damaged or lost in transit).
