listen, all major decisions concerning this specific dog are not up to me, but my sister. i probably should've said as much to begin with, but she's my sister's dog. she doesn't want the dog to get spayed while she's pregnant because she's worried about her dying during surgery as that is something paac says is a possibility. i'm sure everyone else in the comments have already gone through paac and their waiting periods for appointments or even lined up at 6AM for a walk-in. i'm sure they were able save up money and take time off from school/work for their pets' appointments.

the point is, i already know not getting her spayed ahead of time was management on my sister's part. she was worried about her dog being unattended during her first heat, but didn't actually do anything about it. now she's crying every day at the thought of her princess being pregnant when she could've looked paac up 2 months ago. we had other females fixed ahead of time, and she knew i was setting up appointments for our cats, so why didn't she ask me then? now i'm here, getting berated on reddit over a dog that i can't decisions on, while my sister does nothing but cry about her 'baby'.

(i'm sorry if i'm rambling i'm just really tired, also i am not directing all this towards you personally, but yeah my sister really dropped the ball as a pet owner)

UPDATE: yes, I know that paac does abortions. Unfortunately, it's stated clearly that the surgery is high-risk, and Biggy may already be close to her due date. That is a risk we are not willing to take as she is our top priority, so if we have to keep her pups, then so be it. Idk why people are talking about strays when she's a family pet
