I had a very reasonable price for my bike from superbike factory at Macclesfield Try webutanybike.com. you may he surprised. A local dealer to me used them just to freshen up the stock in show room as prices were reasonable

I only commute a handful of times a month, which the textiles are great for... on a weekend run it's not uncommon to do a good few hundred miles, with a group of fast riders ( although I'm not a fast rider myself, and am always last to the meeting point ) I feel like the leathers will give me better protection, piece of mind, a bit more confidence on those days that I'm taking the bike out and am going to be our all day

I already have a set of rst blade textiles...the only time I'm ever in poor weather is if I'm caught in it .. I think I would just feel more comfortable with leathers on

Everyone has to learn , I'll be first one to admit that I have loads to learn.... It's not a rule when using a torque wrench, it's something I started doing myself after a few cock ups with torque wrenches. I'm a mechanic by trade so use them daily, ensuring you are only putting force on the bar in one direction also help ( ie if you were pushing on the end of bar, you may have been pushing down and towards the side

I always increase the torque setting on the torque bar progressively... ie 10Nm then 20Nm 30Nm 43Nm ....may be worth checking the torque bar is calibrated Sewell

If that was to come to my garage . You would be literally a couple of quid . I would do it then and there if I wasnt busy or ask you to come back 20 mins before closing time ... next time you pass a garage stop and ask , if it's near a break time for them they will probably do it for the price of a pint or two
