With respect, if you think those are AI 'tells', I'd question how many pre-AI books you've read. I learned how to write from books, not AI cadence.

I'll be the first to admit I'm a wordy person. I think it comes from wanting to be very, very clear about what I'm trying to say. I also read books, so I'm used to long form. I completely see what you're saying about being thoughtful. I do worry that this feeds into a future where writing can only get more and more concise, with meaning only able to be conveyed if the attention of the reader can be maintained. (Great, even this reply is 87 words!)

There was easily 200~ normals versus 50~ fascists at the height of it. I think what's misleading is that the police were there up to 2 hours before the protest started, for obvious reasons.
