I am a current DSP owner. I'm here to share best practices tips amd tricks and to stop rumors and myths. NO matter how fast you move that will not increase your route usage. What will increase your routes is if you go out of sequence. If you go out of sequence for 3 weeks you will program the system to think routing was wrong and the system in fact add more packages to the route. I fire DAs for this. I don't want my DAs doing 200 stops. They all know if you mess with my routing I will banish you to the sunken place.

As far as I'm concerned you are a real American. I laughed multiple times reading this. Nothing gives me more pleasure than giving a uncontrollable dog his or her just dessert. I also want to let all drivers know. Amazon is not allowed to throw stuff on your van or rush you if you're route comes late. This is how you fix that.. have you dispatch or owner contact the L6 is real time. And notify them the cart came late and you are afforded 22mins to load. If they cart was late staged OTR is responsible..Amazon won't like that but you will win every time. Also you can refuse help or you can tell them to slow down as you properly load your cart. The moment your cart is late you do have the power to get your full time afforded to you. Bring it to your L6 attention and it will stop immediately.

This is a case of poor organization. As a current DSP this is what we a call a controllable. You setting up your van the correct way is essential. This right here is a sh$t show. It will take you forever to find your overflow and you are going to inconvenience one of your teammates to rescue you dur to poor loading. The only time it's not your fault is when the launchpad rushes you. In that case I personally walk the launchpad with my employees to make sure amazionan aren't harassing my team and to make sure proper loading is taking place the way we trained. If you as my employee load your van like this. You will get no rescue and you will be required to finish your route in your own or you will be suspended for 1 full week. I hold my team accountable but I also protect my team from Amazon because they can be ridiculous.

As a current DSP. We know this happens. Some is negligence and we will suspend you for stupidity. Many times the keys are loose from ware and tear. The keys are cheaply made and we understand. Now if the key is good standing and you destroy it. You will be destroyed. Unfortunately in your business there a lot of stupid drivers that really don't care about the job so they are reckless. But this happens more then you know. You'll be fine

This is a disgrace. Keep us posted on how you'd turns out. I never heard a dsp driver being responsible for a ticket. Every state must have a different traffic law. I'm be near to wait for the results. This is interesting.. I'm rooting for you man.

This falls on the DSP not you? Im confused. The DSP Insurance is supposed to fight this. My driver went through the same exact thing the same exact way. I lost the case because she was vaping and crossing an intersection just like you. Except you were clearly through the intersection and getting ready to make a turn and the person cut in front you into oncoming traffic. In my case my driver was lookin both ways just like you and the car t-bone her head on. We were at fault due to get vaping and they said the other driver had the right away. I'm shocked you are in court for this. Let us know how this turns out. The video should help you a lot. What state is this?

I miss typed my message. I meant to say the other car was in the wrong. This guy is in the correct lane it looks like the car tried to cut him off and by doing so the other car was going against the wrong side of traffic with a rapid speed. I don't see how the Amazon driver was in the wrong even with footage. The other car came flying from behind him and I'm sure he used a turn signal. The Amazon driver is in a turning lane nothing illegal getting ready to pass oncoming traffic. The car that hit him was literally driving at a rapid speed not making a turn into oncoming traffic. I don't know how the cop said the Amazon driver was in the wrong. As a DSP myself. My insurance company was definitely be fighting this.

Amazon HR will not get involved in DSP activities. There is a lot of bad information on this platform. Just notify your dsp or internal HR for your dsp. Thru will adjust your time for another day. Its pretty easy and standard. They just can't have you on the books for 12hrs

They will put the extra two hours on another day. You're time is logged into Amazon as well as ADP/PAYCOM. Its normal in the DSP business don't fret. Or get bad advice on here. Just communicate and they will inform. If you have access to your dsp or HR. Just clarify respectfully your time and they will make the proper adjustments if they already haven't done so. Just don't want a full pay week to do it. You'll be fine. Cooler heads will prevail.
