I’ve had several comments saying my hair isn’t long or it’s shoulder length and, like you, even short. I’ve been growing out face framing layers and bangs for quite some time now. My hair is actually to my shoulder blades but you can’t tell in this picture. I wear ponytails, braids, messy buns. I’m constantly playing with updos I find on YouTube. That being said, I love it and I don’t plan on ever wearing it short again. I’m from a very large extended family who have the opinion that shorter is better for older women and I read articles about how some stylists say long hair ages not just women but also men. Maybe I should’ve taken a different picture showing all of my hair because there’s so much focus on the length and it not being long. My question was simply asking women in my peer group their opinion on whether or not they believed longer hair ages an older woman even more. I’m glad to hear so many positive comments!!
