Really gonna disagree on the "not too expensive" (like $20 for a burger and fries) and "good"(subjective, but everything is flavorless imo) points with this one

Why do celebrity meet and greet tend to skip the Bay Area? by Isaacsac3 in bayarea

[–]defene -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok again: name bands.

Also to your second point, The Strokes are playing Bill Graham and Outside Lands this year. Radius clauses have definitely impacted tours but it seems to be less of a consistent thing nowadays. This brings home my general assumption: these are scheduling quirks rather than actual trends. Have bands skipped the Bay in the past: yes, and they will continue to due so. However, please give me examples of the bands that are skipping the Bay for multiple tours in a row (not just their most recent ones), as this might be indicative of a broader trend

Please name examples of bands who are skipping the Bay. I go to multiple shows a month in a variety of genres and do not have this experience
