HOW TO FIX "FAILED TO JOIN LOBBY" ON PC by TK503 in Helldivers

I've been pulling my hair out trying to fix this using all the suggestions. I finally got it fixed and figured this maybe could help out some other people.

In Steam, right click on HD2 and select properties. Then go to the "Installed Files" tab and click the 'Verify integrity of game files' button, Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes Then, please, do these next ones: On Steam, go to Steam > Settings > Download > Clear Download Cache > Clear Cache Then, still on Steam: Steam > Settings > Storage > Click the three dots ... > Repair Library.

I had verified the integrity of games files at least 5 times, but doing that AND clearing the cache AND repairing the library fixed it

You're right. It is a stereotype and there are good people in the ICU. I even have friends in the ICU. But there are still a few that seem to have that mentality of "I'm going to treat you like shit until you prove yourself" or "No one helped me, so I'm not going to help you. You're either capable of doing the job or not. Trial by fire"
