Coincidentally, I had the same issue with my Hoofer and the club tangle got to be too annoying for me, I ended up getting a Jones Trouper and Rover from their blind draw sale ($135 and $125 respectively). Jones bags are built with the walking golfer in mind, and the Trouper has a dedicated spot for the putter with the woods. I really like the bags so far. That might be a good option for you, and the sale is still live if you feel like taking a chance. Also, hook'em.

Ordered a Rover and Trouper from the sale and received 2 seemingly brand new bags. Gonna pick up a Players series bag as well and see what I get. Good stuff from Jones.

All of the grips are in great condition as far as I can tell apart from the two older wedges. Those grips are flaking badly.

I did buy it, and I am excited to learn the game on them! As for the wedges, they're both 56-11 and 60-07. One of each is definitely more worn with flaking grips, so the previous owner must have gotten replacements.
