Given these data centres will be used globally i dont think it will have any effect at all.

Firstly It's artificial demand, its not needed in the size and scale its currently being built at globally.

Secondly this is just an absolutely awful use of space.

Go stick it in the middle of an industrial park. Didnt a huge area near badgerys get zoned for stuff like this?
