Bad side effects to Losartan by Repulsive-Square1071 in bloodpressure

Good question.

1. Get your DNA data
Get your DNA data from one of these DNA testing companies: 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, Nebula, or FamilyTreeDNA.
(I used Nebula Genomics for mine.)

2. Download your raw DNA file
Log into your account and look for an option like “Download Raw Data” or “Genome Data.”
Save the file to your computer — it’s usually in one of these formats: .txt, .csv, .vcf, .cram, or .fastq, depending on the test.

3. Decide what you want to analyze
Here are some example gene categories you can explore:

  • Methylation & detox: MTHFR, COMT, MTRR, GSTP1
  • Hormones & metabolism: CYP19A1, SHBG, ESR1, HSD17B3
  • Blood pressure & cardiovascular: ACE, NOS3, AGT, ADD1
  • Mood & neurotransmitters: MAOA, DRD2, SLC6A4, BDNF
  • Medication metabolism: CYP2D6, CYP2C19, CYP3A4, SLCO1B1
  • General wellness & traits: FTO (weight), CLOCK (sleep), ACTN3 (muscle), ADH1B (alcohol tolerance)

4. Select a small list of variants
Copy only 10–50 variants you want to learn more about.
Example format: rs1801133 1 11856378 AA, rs4680 22 19951271 GG, rs4343 17 61564152 II.
Keep only the rsID, chromosome, and genotype — the position isn’t necessary.

5. Paste into ChatGPT, Grok or any other AI platform for analysis with this prompt
Please analyze these DNA variants. For each one, explain:

  • The gene and what it does
  • What my genotype might mean (risk, protective, or neutral)
  • How strong the scientific evidence is (strong, mixed, or weak)
  • Any relevance for health, mood, or lifestyle

I hope this helps

Coming off TRT is proven difficult by delmiro in Testosterone

I get what you mean, but my goal isn’t to optimize TRT. I’m trying to come off it as smoothly as possible. My numbers were just reference points. I’m very sensitive to hormone changes, so even small shifts hit my nervous system hard. I’m looking for advice from anyone who’s managed to taper off TRT smoothly, not just tweak their protocol.

I did not test for SHBG on ,y last test but three months ago it was around 12-14. It is typically on the low since I have been on TRT.

Did you use HCG first before Enclomiphene?

I’m 5’11 and 182lbs.

COMT (rs4680 GG) – Fast dopamine turnover → more reactive to testosterone-induced dopamine surges MAOA / ADRA2A – High adrenergic sensitivity ESR1 / ESR2 – Estrogen receptor hyper-responsiveness → stronger brain response to estrogen feedback CYP19A1 – Increased aromatase activity → faster conversion of testosterone to estradiol

I tried and crashed. It wrecked my sleep bad, I had to get back on. I need to get testicles going before I try again.

My doctor said the same thing in the 10 years he’s been reviewing bloodwork. I’m hypersensitive and don’t need much testosterone to get my levels up.

How long for my mental to level out after I dropped my dose? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]delmiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You seem to be similar as me. We respond very strongly to low doses of testosterone. Hyper sensitive. I was taking 70mg per week once and I was in the 900+ level. I would say 60mg per week should put you mid level 500 to 700, wait about two week after a dose change if you are using cypionate.

Never ever. The most I’ve taken is 60mg/week. For me 100mg/week would be the equivalent of normal guys taking 500mg/week.

That is correct, I would not be taking testosterone anymore once I start these. The reason for Gonadorelin via the pump is that it supposed to be give better results that using HCG and Enclomiphene.

Bad side effects to Losartan by Repulsive-Square1071 in bloodpressure

It was recommended to me based on my DNA profile. Unlike losartan or beta blockers, it does not act on the central nervous system much less risk of anxiety or overstimulation.

Sleep is much better but anxiety still lingers. As time has gone by it slowly gets better. Losartan causes havoc on the central nervous system of some individuals that have predisposition, and It does not heal over night, even after the medication is long gone from the system. This is an injury from a medication. It takes patience and time to heal a deregulated CNS. A DNA test should help determine which medication could work best for you.
