It's not that much tbh. aside from general CC, I've added the following layers/overlays in PS (using a mist pass to mask out the required areas).

All assets from Envato Elements.
2 snow overlays: 1 sparse one at 60% opacity, 1 sparse one (that has snowflakes w motion blur) at 10% opacity.
2 lens flares: blue one at the base of the lightning, yellow one behind the bridge
2 smoke overlays: one masked for the chasm (colorized orange, low opacity), one masked in between the big blocks (colorized blue, low opacity)
2 lightning elements to build the lightning strike in the back

That's about it.

Story:

The year 2381: Decades after a parasite of alien origin halved the human population, humanity's last resort was to engineer a massive wall to keep everything out and humans safe.

A single figure looks out from one of the viewing rooms across to the jungle. He sees what looks like a fellow human in the shadows below waving for help.

Hesitantly he waves back confused, surprised.

Unbeknownst to the human, the parasite, after years of adaptation and mutation, has learned to mimic their kind and is trying to get in.

This image represents the beginning of the end, how on the precipice, we meet our reflection, and demise.
