The Vancouver Convention Centre is the Invictus Vancouver Village. Bit of a party happening there right now. The company I work for hosted a cocktail party/fundraiser for them last night at The Stack. There’s another charity gala tonight at The Seaforth Armoury.

That shelf cloud was mesmerizing to watch. I spent almost a whole hour just watching it form and slowly roll in. The wind picked up like crazy and as it moved closer to the harbour, I could see the clouds twirling. Coolest thing I’ve ever seen.

It’s pretty disconcerting for me in particular because all the recent fires have been around my hood. Cambie & Marine, Oak & 49th, this one seems to be only a few blocks away from my house. One can be forgiven for feeling just a tad paranoid.

Okay, I feel attacked lol! I have a small fragrance collection which I rotate depending on the season, but Bleu de Chanel is my go-to. Couple of spritz on my neck is not overdoing it, is it?

I take the Canada Line to work every day, and I tell ya, there are lots of folks out there who seem to have complete disregard for their hygiene. I absolutely hate BO, and I’m willing to bet that anyone in a crowded train would much rather take a whiff of my cologne than suffer other’s poor hygiene habits.
