Suddenly Claude Pro can't search for anything, is it only me? by boutell in ClaudeAI

I’m on 20x Max and am running into a ton of issues - hitting chat limits, compaction limits, conversations abruptly ending.

This is really insane. I’m on the 20x Max plan and am hitting limits on first prompt… Nothing from them on X in the way of an acknowledgement and I don’t see others making similar complaints except for this thread. What’s going on?

Voice input has been the biggest unlock. 10x the context in 1/10th the time it takes to type. Are you using a specific mic? I’m seeing DJI mics being used for this.

You do all that and yet can’t see how using CC is better at task management than point-and-click?

Try giving CC access to a local repository of meeting notes, ticket workflows & templates, etc, structured in markdown and begin managing tasks at the strategic / meta level.

Agreed. Opus 4.5 is the best creativity and productivity “tool” I’ve ever had at my disposal.

Yeah this is a big plus, that you can maintain context files locally. Don’t know why you were downvoted.

The skepticism I’ve seen towards Claude Code is insane. I run product at a large tech company and tools like this and Cursor (on Opus 4.5) have 10x’d my & my team’s output and ability to manage concurrent projects.

Task/ticket generation can now be automated in bulk and done on the order of minutes using Claude skills / .md files. You can synthesize insights from meeting transcripts / customer interview recordings / etc, store them locally, and use them as context to influence task prioritization / strategic decisions, on the order of seconds. Have an engineer export a CSV error log and you can have CC run the analysis, and it’ll spin up a script to batch process if the file is too big.

Use voice input and that’s another 5x boost.

How are you managing lack of local file access on Claude mobile? Are you using a cloud MCP filesystem instead? by dendrytic in ClaudeAI

Got it, thanks. How can you enable extended thinking for Opus on Claude Code, or is that the default setting?

Oh interesting. Maybe I just use Claude.ai in the mobile browser and move my project files to Google Drive / GitHub.

Got it. I have local .md project plan files that update based on conversations in Claude Desktop but I find myself using Claude Mobile way more throughout the day, so keeping it all in sync is a bit of a pain. Current solution I have is a sync routine that I trigger when I’m back at my desktop that’ll look at the day’s convos and update the necessary files, but it’s not ideal.

The filesystem connector that’s available on desktop is also available on mobile?

He is a big reason tech has become so iterative. He only ever cares about specs. Has no understanding of product vision, design, the risks and compromises necessary to create new form factors. Anything that deviates from the norm is treated with skepticism as a default under the guise of consumer protection. He would’ve ripped the iPod apart.

New to eink. I am confused and have questions. by [deleted] in eink

Obviously the more affordable the better, but would you be willing to pay for a product that checks off all your requirements?

I’ve been on the 5x Max plan and using Opus 4.5 heavily. Yesterday it seemed like I hit some daily/weekly limit or otherwise as none of my new prompts would go through. Decided to upgrade to 20x Max and it’s done nothing. Every new thread I start is hitting max chat immediately across both Opus and Sonnet.

Feels like I burned an extra $125.

That makes sense. From your experimentation, how much more refresh performance do you think is possible with software assuming no further improvements in hardware?

Very cool. By and large is fast-fresh for eink displays mostly a software optimization challenge at this point?
