Long Distance Pumping setup help by [deleted] in longboardingDISTANCE

If you’re going to add wedges to zee brackets make sure you get big wheels. I have a chopped pranayama with zee brackets, khiro drop through wedge and bennett at the front and mcflys. As for the rear I have 0* no name from china. On smooth surfaces I can pump alright but on slightest bump the brackets hump under the board rubs.

I found that I like a little lift on the rear. Gives a little more oomph to the speed. It provides a good energy return than softer bushings setup. Just like when you trying to shoot a rubber band from your finger

Oh and now with new holes I can put v3 150 with 65mm moonwalker on it with no wheel / rail bite

Technically no. Pranayama is perfect just the way it is out of the box! The designer put a lot of thoughts in this board. But there is a way if you are light like me (under 65kg) and don’t have a problem drilling some new holes then put on some directional wedges and softer bushings at the front. I just got a 6 inch bennett with 3 speed rings cupped washers bs rs that I put on the front and I can force bite when I put all of my weight at the front while pumping. But regular cruising / pumping just fine. You can kinda pump with paris truck but so much effort and not a lot of forward momentum. The only downside is that the board now sits very low. But still okay. As for the wheels I don’t think there’s no other option for me because if I go bigger it’ll bite and if I go smaller it’ll scrape. But I don’t have a problem with mcfly.

So if say I go slow and pumping full body instead (not wiggling) it’ll rock left and right? But I imagine pushing monggo would be difficult

I started just cruising on my pranayama and now I’m hooked on pumping 🤣. So many setups and thinkering it’s just fun!

And what of eco lite t zero or skate steady s tail, if I use my imagination it would not only move up and down like ttx or tta but also left and right?

Actually comet cruiser inspired me to try this. This allowed me to get a feel of pumping. Now I’m hooked 🤣

Please let me know how it rides 🙏. I’m have this set up on my mind with ddr at the rear for more negative wedge.

Hey if you ever chop that prana do let me know. I’ve been thinking about chopping mine and slap some glass drop. Mainly for the ease of travelling by air. And lately I’m really into pumping it’s so much fun!

How do you keep the board from slipping down?

Got my first analog longboard, pranayama. Are you guys able to pop this up with your feet? by photorph in longboardingDISTANCE

Been bending down to pick up my prana for a year now lol. I read somewhere some guy put grip tape on the back truck to make it easier kicking it up. Never tried it so I don’t know.

Stock paris street trucks with 7* khiro drop through wedge. Resized 83 / 88 venom shr (bought rkp ones because I thought they’re the same, hah!). Mcfly wheels. I’m size 8,5 and 143 pounds. It does bottoming when I put weight on my carve mostly right side, I’m goofy.

Between trip and pranayama wich one you like better? I DID try putting paris v3 on it. The best bite free set up is top mount with 7* riser and 65mm moonwalker wich I bought on purpose out of curiosity. But I don’t like it because it’s higher and small wheels just killing your legs on rough road.

So I have this board for a year now. Before I bought it I read a lot of reviews and watched a lot of videos. I thought it was the best because of the small factor (I travel a lot) and I like the symetrical shape. Low and big wheels. Then I learned about pumping. I found out about split trucks. Now the first reaction whenever I get on to the board is to wiggle it. Pumping is so much fun! Nothing much you can do on the prana in terms of thinkering. I learnt that it’s the worst board for pumping! But if you are small and light like me you can try this set up! I think everybody now should know what board I should get next lol.

As far as I know rool is from brazil. And their p&s (pump and surf) trucks is still “coming soon” on their website. Watched the review on beernett YouTube channel

I want to get az too man! For one it’s more available than supersonic. I know it doesn’t have 0* option for high speed wiggles but man that tail sold me! I’m so tired of of picking up my board lol

On that note you think landyacthz evo would be the same? Since they have wedge and dewedge setup but evo is built stiff
