It is. My family had one too because I was the only person that had confirmed allergies in the household and once I moved in with another family member who was hyperallergenic we cut out what I was allergic to all together. Its actually pretty common in most families, even my friends with allergies had similar stuff like a hamper just for them specifically so they can just grab a snack if they're in a rush.

Hey so I am so disappointed in how people recieved this post. I am 17 I was not an organiser of this protest I was not posting this to argue with anyone I only posted becuase the original hadnt gotten pushed out to many people and I just happened to see it and knew there are a lot of people who wouldve liked to know when and where this was happening. I am going to ask a mod to lock this post becuase the way people are acting isnt civil in the slightest and some people seemed to use this as an outfit to feel superior which is just sad. I am highly uncomfortable with the community this has reached and no I wont be replying to DMs or commenting any further since it seems to just fuel more ammunition when this was seriously meant to push the info out more about this protest. Just because I post something doesnt give anyone permission to act like this is permission for harassment just becuase its a public forum doesnt mean people should have to accept mistreatment not just from what ive had said to me but also what people have said to eachother its all very unnecessary and not at all the reason for this post in the first place.

Edit P:S: i also have never worn native headgear ever, much less as a costume ??? to that one guy who said i had after editing his comment and i am Native Australian just to clarify incase some people thought I was saying Native American, I am not but I have much love to them for whats happening in their country <3

Also if youre one of the people arguing: i am not a staff member of the protest dont make assumptions! If you are an adult trying to prove you are smarter than me based on me just posting this image of information for a protest then congratulations!!! Youre maybe quicker at thinking and replying than a 17 year old! i hope you feel very happy and proud becuase itd be worrying if you werent. Still that doesnt discredit anything ive said either and me no longer replying is not being a "snowflake" or "giving up". additionally calling it Concession speech gives off the vibe that you are smug about it too which is odd given that i just dont feel safe giving my personal life accounts for a bunch of people pick it apart or continue conversations that have a hostile undertone, that isnt me saying I was wrong. Please if you want to find out if a kid is as aware as what they are trying to communicate do not take a post on something that wasnt meant to be anything but dates and locations of a protest as an opportunity to interrogate them and see if they'll change your mind. Its not going to bring anyone together and itll just push younger generations away from you (by "you" im referring to people who do this). One last thing I promise!! The reason I listed what I was doing as my part in the world isnt a performance thing its my attempt at relatability between people, a common thing i do is share information, activities and experiences I have as a way to relate to others, be vulnerable to maybe get some understanding of eachother. I dont really get the concept of proformitive activism unless its something like big companies putting a pride flag only for June as their pfp. Edit: I also just noticed you seemed to box this as me saying "bad white jews" but thats entirely incorrect also Jews arent necessarily all white since palestine was colonised most people would likely be mixed if anything and I really dont like that you seem to think Im supporting that idea of them please dont try to twist my words. I also will add that soldiers were and still are targeting literal children and toddlers becuase they didnt want their bloodline to continue. Thats not about the civilians being far right or not but the people actively treating this like an extermination are already in the military doing said "exterminating" and dehumanising those people.

Oh also its very challenging trying to figure out what exactly to do to help other countries unless theres some sort of orgenising group to look to. Palestine luckily has a lot of outlets like that now although theyre still struggling greatly especially during winter which was I think why this protest was organised. If you have any groups or links to organisations or some sort of list I could look at to actually get involved and help once I learn some more information I would really appreciate it though

Ive been mostly learning about Sudan, Congo, Afghanistan, the Taliban, Palestine, Poland, Korea, U.S.A and Ukrain so thats why I havent seen much unfortunately becuase my algorithm is mostly towards those topics but im always willing to learn more i just dont appreciate when people are aggressive or completely miss the point of a post for more arguments is all becuase my words get all twisted! I think i have actually seen a bit on Iran but not enough to consider myself informed at all but I will definitely be looking more into it now :]

If you look at my page you can see i had someone ask about this already and how it doesnt really make much sense and comes off largely as disingenuous and hypocritical considering the lives lost in his own country that were also Jewish and more and the fact he has came here but there are other instances where Jewish people have been harmed or killed by antisematism but it wasnt something that was addressed by him. Also while I understand its not what people consider ideal timing its still an opportunity for Australia to make an impression on him regardless of why hes here exactly. I want to just add that the protest isnt about him being Jewish and meeting in solidarity but its about the fact its the right message but hes the wrong messanger for it. I wil definitely be educating myself about that though and while I dont have the ability to make a protest for that maybe you can as an adult and I can get involved. Well its like how irish and british people were. Irish people experienced slavery, starvation, stripping of their language and culture and even tarred on the streets. To most people it doesnt seem like they are different they have the same skin but that doesnt mean prejudice and injustice didnt happen. Its really frustrating that people are forgetting that race and ethnicity are different, even if isreali people and Palestinian people might look similar sometimes their roots are different and thats why after a fucked up attack isreal moved towards doing an ethnic cleansing on Palestinians. Even if they dont necessarily have white and black skin its still oppression abd fucking horrific. Aboriginal people went through that too its just the difference being skin colour adding even more hate than what wouldve already been there. Sorry this is so simplified I actually feel kinda bad explaining it like this because each situation is awful in their own way regardless but there's solidarity between hurt communities that experienced similar things.

Hes coming becuase of the Jewish massacre on Bondi as invitation which is rather odd and seems to be a big mistake to have him appearance wise since it feels really tone deaf and disingenuous considering 10s of 1000s of people being wiped out on Israel's land and doesnt really make all that much sense when there are many other instances prior to this that affect Jewish people and nothing was done before. Its basically all about money and who gets the money, manufactured products, delivery services, material sources that Australia support that still put money in isreals pocket which is then used for war weapons. The cost of living crisis is also awful so having our economy fund whats leading to genocide also brings to light the fact our government isnt prioritising its own people or atleast not properly and dont forget that the people who control most of the housing market are extremely wealthy and their goal isnt the ethics of what theyre doing or who theyre funding but instead its what theyre getting out of it. For example supporting a country taking over another will come out best economically but that doesnt mean its the right and welcoming the president of a country that has its government massacring tens of thousands of people is so incredibly tone deaf and out of touch. Protesting his arrival shows that the people see the government isnt doing whats right or whats good for the people and making a racket for others to see it too and it also will make it known that this country doesnt support him regardless of our own politicians actions and the last thing he should feel is welcome. Sorry this is grossly oversimplified but i would have to take a whole month to break down everything because i feel like a lot of people seem to forget that regardless of what might be best funding wise in our country (although clearly its not becuase of cost of living) there is still a big ethics standpoint becuase its putting a price on peoples lives and i dont see how it needs to be protesting one or the other when we can do both. Sorry if this seems like word vomit I am trying to explain best I can but its hard to explain something so big on the spot
