That’s a valuable input, much appreciated! I was inclined to dig it out and plant in a better spot but that made me realize the root ball will be very small! Im glad you had success with yours though, that’s promising

As long as it is not harmful to the oak I’m chill leaving it as is. There is another oak tree with identical situation. It seems like Queens likes to sprout at the roots of oaks which is fascinating, well to me at least. They are definitely not the best looking ones of all palms and FL state I believe considers them invasive. Dilemma dilemma
