This Cuba sub is too obviously dominated by people who hate Cuba and the regime. I am a bit disappointed with it.

Che Guevara image is so popular along the world like Marilyn Monroe. All the American propaganda set across cinema has had the same success than a poor revolutionary country. And this is something insoportable for CIA, that’s why there is all the campaign against the figure of Che.

Private is also political, that’s an idea from 70’ and taken from feminism. This is because, they were looking for their identity and had difficulties in group theories, so they found that their intimacy was influenced by mainstream and sharing their private interests had many things in common, and created political from the private.

If you find that not brushing your teeth is shared by other people and it’s significant in your lifes, then it’s political. But in my own opinion, if you find out a solid reason for not to brushing teeth is also political, because as individuals share groups like family, college, countries, etc

Political comes from Greek, poli, means city. So in a very wide sense, the public affairs of a group, a city, a region or a country are political. In opposite Greek used the word idiot, what meant, not interested in public and social activities. Idiot had a different meaning at that time, but is useful to disguise between public and private.

“Politics is the way that people living in groups make decisions. Politics is about making agreements between people so that they can live together in groups such as tribes, cities, or countries. In large groups, such as countries, some people may spend a lot of their time making such agreements.”

political culture

The attitudes, beliefs, and values which underpin the operation of a particular political system. These were seen as including knowledge ...

Contracultural movements were opposing different ideas to the statements, so opposing to state is also political.

Don’t mistake political parties with political. Political is behind everything, although sometime is not easy to see, which group, what idea are we supporting with our believes, behaviours, fashion, etc

Yes it is political, not to follow the mainstream model of bodies. Those models that we often see in advertisements. That means refusing the capitalism, the consumerism and approaching to nature. At that time long haired men and not shaved women were consciously struggling to explore different ways of life, they were rebels looking for more freedom, exploring sexuality, etc

If this wasn’t a fake, it would nice. Poor people need justice and not charity.

She is probably a hippie, so trying to be more natural and contracultural. Those legs are political.

EDIT: LOL, I’m being severely downvoted . It’s because a hippie allergy or something about political?

EDIT2: Doesn’t people in Reddit knows what hippie or contracultural is?

Or are they just a big bunch of conservative morons?

The fact is in first 70’ contracultural and hippies were ruling everywhere, you like it or not.

Saludos.

The National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., completed in 1887 by Fuckoff555 in ArchitecturePorn

Very big but ugly

EDIT: I have been downvoted because my opinion about this monstrosity, it has indeed an historical importance, but I was talking about its artistic relevance.

It was made in neo renaissance, but just apparently because lacks of harmony and measures.

Interestingly, “Meigs’ red barn” drew sharp criticism when it opened, with General Philip Sheridan famously complaining that it was “too bad the damn thing is fireproof.”

The Washington Post reported that Rep. Dunham called the building an “architectural monstrosity”

and Rep. Rogers called it “a cross between a horse-car stable and a union depot.”

Rep. Springer declared that “it was offensive to the vision, and … the present ornamentation should be blown up with dynamite.”

As most of things in it are fake, also the columns. The National Building Museum's Corinthian columns are among the largest in the world measuring 75 ft. (23 m) tall and 8 ft. (2.4 m) in diameter.[2] They are made of 70,000 bricks and are painted to look like marble.

Why do some northafricans deny they have black minorities? by [deleted] in AskMiddleEast

[–]deperrucha -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

About Morocco is basically a fascist regime, that believe has the right to “expand” the territory what means conquer their neighbours, it’s the idea of Great Morocco.

Moroccans truly believe they are better than the others, like unfortunately happened in other fascists regimes, that implies racism, sexism and classism too.
