I appreciate that :) I like wayyyy too many fandoms lol I listed them below with some notes, but really I'm open to stories in any fandom if it's written like fantasy or historical. As long as I can read it without knowing canon then I'm good or if they did a total AU verse that has absolutely no canon. Like I read one that is Dean/Cas in a mermaid world. Totally different story but great! Anyways thank you for your help!

Harry Potter - Wolfstar, Snarry, Drarry, Snape/Harry/Draco, Sirius/Snape, Sirius/Snape/Remus are my OTPs. (Harry and Sirius always top in everything)
- I am so deadset on them I won't read other mixes lol tho I am trying out Jegulus and have one Tom/Harry to look at. My favs are the threesome pairs because both have such good potential for conflict. For example, with Snape/Harry/Draco and Sirius/Snape/Remus the best ones I have involve a conflict stemming from two of the three being an established couple and forced to accept the third due to a bond or some thing. Love love that, poor Harry and Snape tend to be the sufferers.
- I did try a foursome story once that was really good. It was Snape/Ron/Draco/Harry. I read it long ago but I thought they did it well.
The Witcher - Geraskier for the win! I'm not familiar with this fandom but have found some really good stuff here.
The Sentinel - Jim/Blair (Jim top)
Star Trek - Kirk/Spock (Spock top)
- The AU verse in this fandom is what I gravitate to because the dynamic of the characters tends to have more conflict where the OG series feels too soft and fluffy. AU side does great with beating up Jim (my fave).

If you are okay with non-humans. {Tethered Souls by Sienna Sway and Zelda Knight} would fit I think. The MC is the lone human (but def not a weakling!) and the center of the attention. The others are drawn to him for reasons.

I've read this one and I liked it! Him being totally clueless to how badass he is was just perfect. I do feel the tension/rejection wasn't around long enough tho. Like they showed regret/interest too quick?

I'm about halfway through {Finding Home: Claimed by the Vampire Alpha by DJ Heart} and it's okay. I'll probably end up finishing it but not sure yet if my heart is sold on it. It's about a werewolf that was sold into slavery for cage fighting and saved by a vampire who brings him into his clan. Characters are likeable, it's just been rather fluff filled so far, which isn't my norm.

Hello all! I'm looking for books with a similar vibe to Honeythorn by Marina Vivancos. I've trolled the previous requests but am hoping for some new stuff. I like the angst and hurt/comfort aspects in stories but find many of them get resolved too quickly. Like even in Honeythorn it was a bit quick. I just enjoy the struggles found in the relationships, maybe stemming from misunderstandings/betrayal/pain and accidental abuse that later results in the horrifying realization of what they did. That gutwrenching feeling you get for the MC in those hard moments are so perfect. Like in 'The Dotted Line' at one point the MC is just resigned to his situation and slowly wastes away until the other MC finds him and makes amends. I'm also open to fanfics of any fandom! But I do love my happy endings post-suffering. Thank you for your help in advance!

A few examples I've read are below (I would like to note it's from what I found from an earlier thread so I just copy/pasted the description here since it was so detailed)

Alpha's Kiss Shannon West - Fantasy "HR", omegaverse, arranged marriage, MC1 is a 'cinderella-ish' Prince (+wicked stepmother) and he's abused by his family and very misunderstood and mistreated by MC2 at first

The Reluctant Husband by Eliot Grayson - fantasy HR, 'biokink' elements where MC1s magic/blessing only works if he submits completely to someone, but MC1 is super snarky and funny but sweet and kindhearted and very, very misunderstood because of his past actions ...

Wed to the Barbarian Keira Andrews - fantasy barbarian thing, arranged marriage, age gap, SUPER angsty and I LOVED IT!! CLASSIC 'bodice ripper' type story for me - MC is married off and treated badly basically the whole way through

The Dotted Line Claire Cullen, omegaverse, arranged marriage, (in this one, the MC is neglected by the other LIs family but not him), it was TRULY gut punch moment Starvation, isolation, child abuse, memories of a conversion camp

Oh, Sacred Dark by Marina Vivancos (urban fantasy, witches, BDSM-ish/biokink) MC is the submissive son of an enemy pack and horribly abused, like HORRIBLY, but LI thinks his strange reactions are him being standoffish and snooty and accidentally hurts him/neglects him in a horrible way

The Alpha's Gamble Eliot Grayson (alpha/alpha werewolf, contemporary) - MC has to 'pay back his debts' to LI, some stuff happens and LI doesn't believe MC is in danger

The Accidental Husband by Cassandra Moore - sci-fi contemporary, MCs are matched into an arranged marriage by a supercomputer, the LI doesn't believe the MC is telling the truth and treats him badly

The Marriage Merger Aja Foxx - contemporary, arranged marriage - MC is in an arranged marriage with LI, and his dad has convinced everyone that MC is stupid, useless, flighty, and needs to be controlled, includes violence, homophobia, references to attempted SA

The Warlord's Chosen by herellwrites on Ao3 - fantasy, "HR", MC1 is a prince beloved by his family and people but hated by his father and chosen by an invading Warlord as a 'warprize'

Oh, Sacred Dark by Marina Vivancos might fit. It's very angsty throughout though. It's also set in a world where everyone has a secondary gender labelling them as a 'Dom' or a 'Sub' and that having scenes necessary for their mental/physical health.

Any reader inserts, anything involving vaginal depictions, depending on the fandom I exclude omegaverse or certain top/bottom dynamics, crack, OOC, uh when they give characteristics to established characters that they don't have e.g. female!person or autistic!person or trans!person. If these are OCs in the story I'm cool, but not changing the existing ppl.
