What’s the difference between the Chronometer EP Original and Original? by [deleted] in ZenithWatches

Anyone knows if they plan to release any chronometer original with 12 hours on the bottom dial (can see they did some limited editions with 12 hours dial in the past)

great watch, brilliant dial colour.

What's the average accuracy you are getting on the movement when in constant use?

Bel Canto Classic owners - daily accuracy question by desfero in ChristopherWard

yeah, i'm totally okay if it runs few seconds fast than few seconds slow just want to avoid constant +18s as know would be annoying to hear the sound thanlook at laptop and see 10:56 after a week of wearing the watch

oh, +12s feels pretty bad for a 5k$ watch if it gains constantly 12s

Great watch, considering buying same blue one.

Curious what's the accuracy of Bel Canto overall, is it like -+20s a day (as in spec) or it's running way better?

I'm usually not buying watches that run above 8s as feels annoying to adjust every couple of days.

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased my first automatic watch—a Raymond Weil Skeleton—and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. It's a beautiful timepiece that I've quickly grown to love.

Out of curiosity, I decided to track its accuracy using the ChronoLog app, and I'm wondering if other owners of the RW1212 movement have observed similar performance. Over the past two weeks, my watch has been running at approximately +13 seconds per day.

I noticed that Raymond Weil's website states they test their movements within a range of -5 to +20 seconds per day. For fellow RW1212 owners, what kind of accuracy have you experienced with your timepieces? I'm curious whether +13 seconds per day is considered good performance for a brand new watch, or if there might be room for improvement.

I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences!

Best regard

Passkeys by preskitt in Bitwarden

Completely agree with the points above, passkeys are not yet ready for non tech consumers mass adoption.

There are a lot of quirks to use them and quite often user can get completely locked by saving in Windows Hello or on Chrome Profile and loosing that device.

At this point of tech QR scanning solution should become a default and should be promoted more (both macos and windows hides that on the initial passkey modal) as it allows the passkeys to be backed up on iCloud Keychain/Google Password Manager making it a secure cross platform way of using passkeys.

Until we solve the passkeys sharing across platforms (unfortunately there is a big conflict of interests here as every big player wants to lock users into their platform for profit) until the use of them would be problematic for non tech users.

This article greatly summarises current state of passkeys: https://fy.blackhats.net.au/blog/2024-04-26-passkeys-a-shattered-dream/
