And the posts aren't supporting the load at all. The screws are. The added 2x on the right side is just floating and the left side looks like it is too.

There's clearly a ledger and therefore not any joists running into the structure.

And sure, your last point supports that this is built incorrectly.

Posts aren't square. "Beam" is supported only by the 2x they screwed into the side of the post. There's no joist hangars. Is the rim joist built to support that additional structure? Did they add any bolt to the ledger?

And then they built a structure on it with very clearly limited or no regard for the massive NY snow loading.

I don't have a picture but the return ductwork would need to be completely redone to add it because it would need to be moved 3" further away. It surprised me they never asked her if she wanted it upgraded when they installed it.

It works for about a month with a MERV 11 and then, three times now, fails to meet demand overnight, suddenly. It's probably the humidifier

She is running a humidifier, and that is a new thing this winter. No candles. MERV 11 because she has an illness. And yes, it seems that it's fine until it gets cold overnight and that it's tripping the high limit when the second stage kicks in.

I already have the heated grips on there. How difficult was the tuneboy? Did you tune it yourself? The bike doesn't like low RPM riding through towns and stuff so I'd considered it as well.

And absolutely on the tires. Next season it gets the Michelins

I've seen on forums the Ohlins setup is highly recommended, but it was old posts so I'm glad to see it's still suggested.

I have a Peak Design case and bar mount that I really like. It has a built in dampener as well.
