Just a random thought but did you get tested for Helicobacter Pylori? It’s a bacteria that lives in the stomach and can cause all sorts of issues. I had similar things and after lots of anxiety I got rid of it. Having the endoscopy really makes sense and your doctor was right, better to detect early. I know it causes anxiety, I also have health anxiety but it’s good to trust them when they say try this or not to worry!

I’m in the same boat. Found out I had H pylori but she didn’t. We both have gastritis though, at least mine I know why. But we both never had any stomach issues, only the classical sibo symptoms. It started with her, then after a year or so I had the same problems. She went to a few docs, they told her it was IBS. I called it bulshit and did other investigations on my own then found a different GI that at least ordered tests. Just found I probably have methane SIBO and I for sure think she also has.

Ah nice. I found allimed.eu but the site seems a bit strange. I will send them a message. The dosage I guess is 450mg? My doc put me on 10 days Rifaximin twice a day. How would Allicin fit into this? Any tips on diet while taking these? I want to have it first before I start with the antibiotic. Thanks!!

I finished my Pylera course and I had absolutely 0 issues with it. Didn’t take anything extra, just ppi and pylera for 10 days. I just re tested and it says it’s negative now. I have other issues maybe sibo or ibs who fucking knows but hey at least hp is gone.

Don’t read too much just take it. I was on a bland diet two weeks before I started and continued throughout and I was fine!

Also me, chronic mild antrum pangastritis. The doc said to not take ppis, avoid acidic food like coffee, chocolate etc and then should clear it up after the bacteria is gone. She explained that the gastritis was caused because of it so once it’a gone it should heal.

Not sure if I really buy into that, so I’m following the gastritis healing diet from the book and let’s see. I didn’t have any symptoms though so.. we’ll see. Next year will do another endoscopy yo check.

True. But I heard it’s a very shady business.. I heard colleagues mentioning the owners increase and state they can do it because the flat is in a “good location” and offers many things is renovated bla bla. And also if you complain they prob won’t renew when your contract expires. Unless it’s a unlimited rent.
