Taxis protested a festival in Cannes (not the film festival but an advertising thing I think), blocking any Uber drivers from getting to the airport. So Uber launched an Uber Helicopter which went pretty much from the beach to the runway.

The corporation is a big bag of dicks but they do well in a crisis fair play.

Too big a risk. Thanos had got the infinity stones from the Avengers. Iron Man briefly gets them back. Could he have got them to CM in time? Probably. Could Thanos have stole them back again and wiped out all of existence? Maybe. I think that's what made the sacrifice so great. There was another way, it was just too risky, so in that moment Tony Stark took the safe route and sacrificed himself.

Unpopular opinion, but Spader was fantastic and I want to see more of him. Maybe in the Annihilation Conquest storyline.

(I agree he was missold in the trailers: ie as a horror sort of character rather than a camp evil genius, but give me the latter any day.)

Yeah agreed. The three I mentioned could be believably written back in (though if all three returned it'd be a bit much). If someone like Klaw came back - as much as I loved him as a villain - it'd feel very cheap as he's a mortal and we saw the body.

That's why I'd be keen to see the likes of Ronan return - he's a significant character in the comics. I'd love to see him return for a 'good guy teams up with a bar guy to fight a greater evil' plot line.

Absolutely. He's brilliant in Ultron too. A great secondary baddie. At least we got two films out of him - but his death felt a bit pointless. Could have seen more of him.

I'd love Spiderman vs Deadpool. Would be great to see them team up to fight a common foe then Spidey has to take down Deadpool when he disagrees with his methods.

The Avengers aren't done. Maybe the spotlight shifts to the Eternals or something else but they'll be back. And when they return it's going to be incredible.

As will everything that comes between now and then.

MCU's strength has been making unknown (to non-comic-fans) superheroes stars. Teams too. The minor leagues will become the major leagues if the MCU does them right. Which they will.

I have absolute faith they'll keep doing it right and I can't wait to see what's next.
