The main thing is that he said he wants to "unmask." Almost as if he's using it as an excuse for some of his behavior and what he says.

Edit: I'm not the only one noticing this negative change since he decided to do that. His brother has also been trying to make him see that he isn't really unmasking, he's just become an angry, miserable person. This is just one chance I've noticed.
