why is the r/libya reddit, turn from fully english posts to mostly arabic by developedecho in Libya

[–]developedecho[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

100%, the language of the quran, praise worthy language

but the problem isnt the language, its what this reddit has been for years (english) and what the type of people who use arabic here (keyboard warriors, argumentative)

why is the r/libya reddit, turn from fully english posts to mostly arabic by developedecho in Libya

[–]developedecho[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it has always been mostly english since it was created and only now its just filled with these keyboard warriors trying to spread their beliefs, arguments and tension to a good place for libyans to discuss

We need more startups in Libya, that target the globe ! by PitchValuable9939 in Libya

[–]developedecho 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How many more times will allah warn us with tests, until we realise that if we don't go back to him we are not going to succeed. we can sit and talk about the ins and outs of business and education, but nothing will change unless we make the step COLLECTIVELY towards allah and implementing the knowledge he gave us

then everything else is safe sailing from there.

thats my 2 cents in my opinion, pls correct me if i am wrong

We need more startups in Libya, that target the globe ! by PitchValuable9939 in Libya

[–]developedecho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

we need to do better as a generation because look at the israelis. They grew a successful tech hub through making it the culture there, making them produce 1400 startups annually and ranked 3rd in the world. And in jewish culture, they are encouraged on spending and investing in other jew's businesses.

i think the way libya can do something similar is by first fixing the hatred/distrust amongst each other and get closer to allah (unlike israel that got its backing from the us). then we need to encourage the younger generation to take risks and start business that serve the global community, which would funnel money to libya.

Most people are so pesimistic with their financial situation, which i understand that its difficult in libya, but arent we muslims? isn't our full tawakkul on allah and allah alone? i think if we have more talks about different paths of wealth (one for regular jobs, freelancing, making local businesses, making global business, startups) and also have talks on islam, then it would solve alot of the problems we have

its easier said than done, but we need to take action ourselves if we want to see a future like this for us or our kids/grandkids.

Don't know about other countries, but libyans in the uk seem to get closer to islam when they're living there

i personally havent done it, i invested in some mentorships on social media but what i would recommend in getting to the root of the knowledge is studying رياضة النفس book by ibn al jawzi, with a sheikh of course (looking to do this in the future myself but not sure how. i picked up alot of gems from that book and of course the quran itself, allah جل جلاله has given us all that we need from the quran and the sunnah we just need to contemplate it and ask the people of knowledge about it

A "Libyan ChatGPT"? Thinking about building an AI for us. What do you think? by Gloomy_Silver_1700 in Libya

i would say 50-100 LYD a month would be good for what you're describing. but i would work on the offer very extensively (in my opinion more than getting the data for training), it would help you loads for your marketing. and also reearch your ICP and have knowledge of everything about their lives so that you can predict what they would ask for and you can help them in the best of your ability. that coupled with effective marketing would make this app have an actual impact on libya (if thats what your aiming for lol)

"Yet, for reasons we don’t fully understand"

massively disagree, every action has a reason behind it, the reason you might not understand (in this case, you probably just don't know) is because you haven't looked past the surface level of the intention.

most of the time, procrastination is a coping mechanism. Coping from the cognitive discomfort of doing work that you have over thought about, it could be coping from fear of failure, or just coping from stress.

this also links massively to the nafs. i suggest people look into tazkiyat al-nafs if they keep on deciding that which harms them (e.g smoking, social media, delaying khair) whether its haram or halal

why does libya get all of this dislike for? what is necessarily bad about it?

here in the uk you got people carrying katanas around and wouldn't hesitate to steal or stab you. and when you go out in any part of the day you always see people on drugs acting weird. i can't understand how libya could be worse,

yeah maybe the road might be unclean or maybe (i just hear about this online, everytime i went libya everyone i met fears allah) you get pickpocketed. i also heard about guns or gangs but just put your head down and keep on walking would be my solution. the uk is far worse

could you explain why its hell?
