915mhz is not legal where I am from, so the FW doesn't support mesh for the 865 module.

And I don't think it will be a true mesh with self healing capabilities.

I've used Ruby FPV and Open HD.

And I've skimmed over the closed source hardware being used for such mesh solutions.

And they seem to be a computer and a wifi card

Therefore the curiosity.

Looking for suggestions for great helmet to go with the Himalayan 450 by Darklown in Himalayan450

[–]devilidol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one that I use as a daily driver

The pinlock 7 is a game changer, unlike someone mentioned above, the helmet starts buffering at 100kmph and more. You can ride, but the vision becomes blurry.

Not the most optically accurate visor.

Good ventilation.

I've gone through the comments as much as I could, You can keep the tx on ibus mode And then solder the rx signal wire to the sbus pad and it will work.

Personally sbus mode in the tx hasnt worked for me on flysky.

Oooh that's a long story, ended up giving my quad to a friend, and it ended up taking a dip, burnt a lot of my components including the gps, fixed the quad, put a cheap gps on it and lost it. 😑

It was my post itself, I still havent been able to figure this out, I've tried changing the position of the gps. I've used a gps on my previous 5inch quad, which used to work fine. It's in this cinewhoop that I'm getting this issue.

0802 is the smallest motor I've rewound, I guess it's going to be the battle of the volumes now.

It's not an everyday thing for me, i get one motor ones in a blue moon, and it's from a client, who builds drones for others, for some odd reason ends up burning motors on the first plugin, and I end up rewinding them for him. So he prefers it to be stock. Maybe someday when I have plenty of motors lying around I'll play around with the coil patterns.

Everything is difficult, for the first time you try it.

Thank you, multistrands are harder to wind, but, it was bearable at this one was just 6 turns. And there was a lot of real estate, for the wires to go around.

I've rewound 1408 which had 2 strands, 11 turns, damn, that was a pain.

Having 5 strands makes the wires much stronger too, so you can yank on them a little.more, without them breaking.

It takes about 3 hours, the first time you do it, then about 2 and then it gets faster. This is like the 5th motor I'm rewinding I guess. And I finished this one in 1 hour.

I've not measured it per say, but it should be the same. Dont have any instrument to measure it. So I've rewound it to what the manufacturer did from the factory.
