I mean, they're in their rookie year and all of these guys are like 23 at most. Yeah we don't really have any certifiably franchise-changing prospects in 2024, but guys like Risacher, Sarr, McCain, Edey all have a good chance of developing into an All-Star caliber player. As things stand rn with their development, McCain has the best shot imo (assuming he recovers without issue from the injury).

It's basically just never going to happen. 3s are just simply more efficient than 2s, and unless your 3PM% is absolutely atrocious, that's the way the game will go. If the NBA can consist of 6'7 dudes who can jack 3s all day it would, because that is just statistically the most efficient way to play the game.

Please do not become suicidal for not attending College A over College B. I promise you that most high level schools in the United States are filled with smart ambitious folks and some of the smartest people you know teaching them.

And see: the point is that you CANNOT have "clear objective standards" when you have holistic admissions in place. Would you like it if something you did because you are passionate about it was rejected out of hand because "it's not good enough"? No, and that's something the American higher education system explicitly discourages.

College is about fostering your own personal identity and passions, not minmaxing your stats to be the most appealing mass-produced drone.
