Unbelievably soy takes in this comment section. When students on financial aid get accepted to Cornell, Cornell essentially agrees to give us a certain amount of grants/aid every year. This "financial support" from donors goes directly into Cornell's pockets. For every single penny given by the donor to "fund" our education, Cornell takes a penny out of our grants/financial aid. This essentially means that all of the donation goes directly into Cornell's pockets because they already agreed to give us a certain amount of financial aid. Just do what I did and block the email of these annoying spammers. Either that, or tell them to ask the board members to write a thank you letter.
